Who I Am

MORE THAN ONE
THING AT ONCE

A competitor by nature, a builder by drive, and a servant by choice.

My Story

IN MY OWN
WORDS

I'm Jackson Gorden — a competitor by nature and a builder by drive. I've spent my life learning that the habits that make you great on the field translate directly to every other arena: showing up prepared, pushing through adversity, and leading without being asked.

Whether I'm in a professional setting, crossing a finish line, or working on a project that doesn't exist yet, I bring the same standard: show up, work hard, and don't stop until it's done right.

At 16, I run my own lawn care business with 15+ weekly clients, manage my own investment portfolio, have a goal of earning my pilot's license, and compete as a varsity distance runner at Bentonville High School. I'm early in my journey — but I move with intention and I'm always ready for the next challenge worth taking on.

01
Work Ethic
Whether it's the last yard of the day or the last mile of a race, I don't cut corners. I finish what I start — every time.
02
Initiative
I started my first business at 10 years old. I don't wait for permission to build something — I identify an opportunity and move.
03
Character
I serve my community, mentor younger students, and show up when people need help — not because it looks good, but because it's right.
04
Vision
I think long-term. Every decision I make today — in business, athletics, and life — is part of a bigger picture I'm working toward.

ACTIVE
PURSUITS

Future Pilot
One of my biggest goals is to earn my private pilot's license — ideally before leaving for my LDS mission and heading off to college. Aviation demands precision, calm under pressure, and serious commitment, and I'm working toward it.
🌿
Red Truck Lawn
Still growing the business year over year. 15+ active weekly clients, fully self-managed. Building toward a larger, more systemized operation in the coming seasons.
📈
Stock Portfolio
Actively managing my own investment portfolio. Learning markets, studying positions, and building long-term financial discipline from an early age.

COMMUNITY &
LEADERSHIP

Serving others isn't something I do on the side — it's part of who I am.

Youth Leadership Committee
Serving on the Bentonville Stake Youth Leadership Committee at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints — contributing to youth development and community programming across the region.
🤝
S2S Mentoring Club
Volunteered numerous times at Bentonville High School through the Student to Student Mentoring Club — mentoring underclassmen and helping younger students navigate high school with confidence and direction.
🌪
Tornado Relief — Summer 2024
Participated in multiple tornado cleanup projects across Bentonville following a severe storm that caused significant damage to homes and businesses throughout Northwest Arkansas in the summer of 2024.
Why It Matters

SERVICE IS
A STANDARD

I believe the measure of a person isn't just what they build for themselves — it's what they contribute to the people around them. Community service has taught me humility, perspective, and the kind of leadership that doesn't need a title.

From mentoring freshmen at BHS to clearing debris after a storm, I show up because I believe it matters — not because it benefits me.

The Mindset

WHY I
RUN

Distance running is one of the purest tests of discipline there is. There's no one to lean on at mile four of a race — it's just you, the clock, and the decision to keep pushing. That challenge is exactly why I love it.

The mental toughness I've built through four years of Cross Country and Track shows up in everything else I do. When things get hard in business, school, or life, I already know I can keep going.
